Created for Stefan Sagmeister's MFA Design class, A Thing I've Learned in my Life, this typographic film explores a personal statement about death and existence. The statement reads: Death is the only truth we have ever known and will ever know but will never believe. The experiment simulates the inability to escape blackspots in one's vision after harshly overexposing one's eyes to the light—mirroring the inability to escape one's own mortality.
